Job Overview:
As a Helpdesk Support Engineer, you will be expected to become familiar with a variety of software applications and hardware layouts, to help trouble shoot and resolve incoming customer support tickets.
Desired background and interests:
Can verbally communicate well with others; multi-task; learn new technologies and interact well with others.
Preferably candidate has worked as a Help Desk technician or has Public Safety Software experience.

Job Qualifications):
Bachelor's Degree + 4 years of applicable experience or equivalent applicable experience
Candidate must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a US Secret clearance.
Customer support/help desk experience required
Familiarity with Computer Aided Dispatch systems or Public Safety Software a plus
Experience with Microsoft operating systems. Windows 2016 Server and Windows 10 experience required.
CompTIA Security+ certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire date.
Must work well with others, be able to learn new technologies required.
Exhibit excellent work ethics and verbal communications skills required.
Ability to function independently with little supervision and guidance required.
Availability to travel as needed to customer sites required.
Ability to work directly with customers to gather required information to resolve issues
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite products required
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle preferred.
Familiarity with relational database structure preferred.
Must be able to work, days, evenings, nights and weekends to support a 24/7 help desk
Required Level of Security Clearance: Secret. Candidates possessing an active or recent (within 12 months) Secret level or higher security clearance will be given priority consideration.
