JOB TITLE: Declassification Analyst (multiple levels)

LOCATION: Ft. Belvoir, VA

JOB DESCRIPTION

Performs declassification review of Army records in accordance with federal direction.  The position requires successful applicants to have excellent reading and comprehension skills, understand records management and have over six years of experience working in the declassification or records management areas.   

Provide on-site technical support services to U.S. Army Management and Declassification Agency. Weekly progress reports shall be submitted by each individual working under this contract to the hiring company’s project coordinator.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

On-site representative will be trained and skilled in overall computer systems and applications as defined in the SOW.  Each on-site representative will meet certification level requirements to the level as required and defined in government contract.  

• Completion of specialized training IAW government requirements, the declassification analysis process, use of classification guides, recognition of Army equities, proper disposition of documents reviewed and mastery of automated tools and tracking system.  
• Completion of training by Department of Energy and be certified as Historical Records Reviewers for the purpose of identifying Restricted Data and Formerly Restricted Data in documents under review. 
• Must be able to recognize equities from other agencies and make proper referrals of documents to those agencies.  
• All on-site representatives are required to hold current United States of America citizenship.  Top Secret security clearance is required to perform this task.  
• Must have a Bachelor‘s degree from an accredited college or university with at least six (6) years of experience in the field of specialized expertise with respect to Army Records Management or similar DoD programs / projects.   Additional years of experience may be substituted for lack of degree.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: This position requires a Top Secret level government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
